Welcome to the Epic Olympic Escape Summer Games Challenge, where the spirit of the Olympics meets the thrill of an escape room adventure! This is your chance to step into the shoes of an elite athlete and tackle a challenge that will test your wit, agility, and determination.
You are a member of the US Olympic team, and you have been training hard for the upcoming games. You are staying at the Olympic Village, a complex of apartments and facilities for the athletes and staff. The night before your first event, you receive a mysterious email from someone who claims to be a fan of your sport. They say they have hidden a special gift for you in your room, and they have locked the door behind you. They challenge you to find the gift by solving a series of puzzles related to the Summer Olympics. If you fail, you will miss your event and lose your chance to win a medal. Can you escape in time?
Your mission is simple yet daunting: locate the hidden gift and unlock the door before time runs out. Failure is not an option, for the clock ticks down to your first event, and with it, your chance to claim Olympic fame. Will you rise to the occasion, or will the pressure of the games outpace your problem-solving skills?
Overview
Virtual escape rooms are FUN! If you are a teacher you can expect cheers and excited faces when you announce that a virtual escape room is on the agenda. But they aren’t just for students! They can also turn an online corporate event into an exciting, interactive experience that everyone will be talking about!
Virtual escape rooms require very little prep (just click a link!), and it is completely self-checking. Participants will not be able to progress through the escape room unless they get the answers correct. Anybody with a computer and an internet connection can complete this activity.
The escape room is accessible through a Genially link which does not need any user ID, email account, or login information. We have yet to see any escape rooms blocked by a domain, however, it’s a good idea to check using one of our free escape rooms to make sure that all links work for your participants.
The Epic Olympic Escape: Summer Games Challenge virtual escape room is designed to be able to be completed by participants either individually or in pairs or small groups.
