Overview
Virtual escape rooms are FUN! If you are a teacher you can expect cheers and excited faces when you announce that a virtual escape room is on the agenda. But they aren’t just for students! They can also turn an online corporate event into an exciting, interactive experience that everyone will be talking about!
Virtual escape rooms require very little prep (just click a link!), and it is completely self-checking. Participants will not be able to progress through the escape room unless they get the answers correct. Anybody with a computer and an internet connection can complete this activity.
The escape room is accessible through a Genially link which does not need any user ID, email account or login information. We have yet to see any escape rooms blocked by a domain however it’s a good idea to check using one of our free escape rooms to make sure that all links work for your participants.
The Summer Break OUT virtual escape room is designed to be able to be completed by participants either individually or in pairs or small groups.

Avril –
This was the PERFECT activity for my eager 4th and 5th graders for the last week of school. After doing a few other escape rooms, my kids were addicted and are always begging for one more. This final escape room before the year was over was a reward that they could earn when the last week started getting challenging to manage. Imagine that – a reward where kids have to THINK! The theme was perfect and the kids were able to complete this independently, which gave me some time to pass things out and do other end-of-year tasks in the background. It was a win-win situation for all.
